Hello there at Modern Ferret magazine, i have to say we are loving your work. You're doing such a good job in promoting ferrets as an attractive and interesting pet. Too many people see ferrets as wicked and dangerous creatures and this is W-R-O-N-G. WRONG.

We, The Folly Ferrets, are a British band who share you're love of the ferret, this is why we thought you might want to see the lyrics to our most well known song, 'The Ferret Song'. Its quite a crowd pleaser i can tell you. The song looks to tackle the difficult, and sometimes mis-understood, subject that is the love that can develop between a ferret and his (or her) owner. The song looks to show why, and how, this platonic love can grow. it must be stressed that the relationship sung about within the song is platonic and is not sexual as some of our audience have suggested (we once had a member of the audience shout out "you shag ferrets you sicko's", which isn't on). Anyway i hope you enjoy the lyrics, if you want a copy of the song on tape let us know and we would be happy to provide. We look forward to hearing from you.
