There have been reported meetings between members of The Folly Ferrets on location in BO!urnemouth. With no official Folly Ferret release (there are many bootlegs of the 'Ferret' sessions circulating on the black market) specualtion is rife about the future of the band. Whilst there has been no official confirmation from The Folly Ferrets press PR spokesman friends have stated that future musical projects were spoken of when founder members of the band felix and sam met one lazy sunday on Bournemouth beach (just left of the pier near the bouncy castle) and later at the bands favoured drinking hole 'the moon in the square'. As has been previously reported felix along with sometime ferret ivory tickler and beat basher rufus were recently involved in a musical side project; "sketches from the blue room" which has recieved mixed responses from critics and fans. Other members of the band have further been embarking on musical programs outside of the Ferrets: Sam has been working on his dj career where Europe has quite literally become his playground. Rumours suggest this development could lead to a more dance orientated aspect of the Ferrets work? It is unclear whether John Beck has worked on anything official since 'Ferret'. Melissa meanwhile, the occasional female muscial influence on the debut album, has released several darkly satanic works on the 'goths are us' label including the haunting ballad "light used to be a good friend of mine (but now its darkness all the way (baby))". Rumours that she now sticks to a diet or raw beef and live sheep, gourging from dusk to dawn on the blood of virgins have not been dismissed.

Rumours have flared up that work has commenced on a new Folly Ferrets album. The word which is very much on the street is that felix has been crafting several "little beauties" in the safe surroundings of his room. It is unclear how developed this new material is with one bloke saying to another, the other day, in passing, without the slightest bit of worry, that lyrically felix was running a little dry. Talk is that there has been an email circulated around the band members notifying them of developments and seaking contributions and confirmation of there where-abouts for recording. Christmas has been spoken about by some. What significance this time has -release date? recording? a time for family and friends to get together? judgement day?- in unclear at the moment. It is thought that any release may be accompanied by a first folly ferret video filmed on location in Bournemouth.
